Just got a df-2, and instead of the feedback it's supposed to produce, it's just making a weird spaceship noise when I engage the feedback mode. Any ideas what's up?
Mine does that too if the "overtone" knob is all the way to the right. If the all knobs are at 12 o'clock it should be OK. If it isn't OK then, the oscillator might be broken.
Note that it doesn't "sample" the incoming sound to give the infinite feedback, it generates a wave internally so it won't sound like infinite feedback of your actual guitar.
all it does is makes a wave that goes in time with the led. I know it won't sound like real feedback( I found some soundclips and listened to them before deciding to buy one), but it's not doing anything like it's supposed to regardless of where the knobs are set. The distortion part works normally I should add. Just the feedback part isn't.
