OK I just took a peek inside my boss dm-3 delay and notice that I have 3 trim pots I know the one in the pot left corner is Bias trim pot, but can some tell me what the across from to the right is and the other one is as well and Most importantly of all how to set them all correctly.

Here is better picture I just did.

The pot across (VR2) is for adjusting the clock leakage cancellation.

The other one at the lower right side (VR3) is for the clock frequency adjustment.

You will need an oscilloscope and a signal generator to do the calibration, provided somebody has tempered the original setting.

I would check that first. Try to see (using extremely light force) if you can turn the pots. If they are fixed, you have the factory setting and there is no need to adjust anything.

Otherwise, the procedure for the calibration is explained here for the DM-2:

This is what we put together last year:

Have a look at BASN's comments at the end of the thread for notes on the DM-3.

I bought mine off eBay for $100 a couple of years ago...

Most electronics stores have them, but the new ones are between $300 and $600 for a basic one.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to calibtate pedals without one - you also need it for calibrating the CE-2, BF-2, etc. If you are going to have pedals in your life for a long time, it's a worthwhile investment.

I got one of this compact cards for cheap.

http://www.picotech.com/ultracompact-oscilloscopes.html

It covers all audio needs but the downside is that you need a pc.

It has two oscilloscope channels and a built-in generator.

It goes for ~ $286.
