I hear it's 'Digital but gives any analog effect I've heard a run for it's money, and was also used by Hendrix' |

I think there can be a market in post-mortem, or post-humous, which is more appropriate?, celebrity endorsements.
"It's what Hendrix would use if he was alive..."
"It's the V Randy Rhoads would be playing today..."

| Something else that amuses me is people saying 'it has tonnes of tone!' call me pedantic but that doesn't cut it for me. |

Hi lost_in_sound
The reason they do it, is so that they get a hit-listing, if you search for either Boss or Digitech, or whatever other non-related name they use in the ad.
Boss not: Diditech, marshall, peavey, ibanez, begringer, mesa boogie, fender... Get the picture?
I think EvilBay is trying to put a stop to this kind of posting.

Would be great if they did. When I search I usually enter the string boss -hog -daisy -mounting -supply and there's still lots of irrelevant auctions to wade through. It's not as bad as if you search for gibson. I think that will give you more than 90% non-gibson items |

| ya especially when you're on dial up (like me) and you want to load a page and have to wait for it to load 40 "boss HOG" photos. and those Boss Mod kits are bad too. |

Yeah that annoys me, I tend to do a worldwide, buy it now search for Boss in musical instruments and list them by price low to high, you get pages of guides on various recorders, manuals on disc, knobs, mod kits, boss hog pedals and eventually hours later you occasionally get a Boss bargain. |
