Hello. I've been looking for a better chorus pedal. I currently have the Visual Sound H20 V2 Chorus/Echo pedal and the chorus is pretty good, but the echo isn't cutting it for my delay pedal...so, I'm going to pick up a DD-5 and a chorus pedal. Boss has made SO many different chorus pedals...I need to know which one to go for and why (or just tell me about what you have and why you do or don't like it). And if you have a suggestion on a chorus pedal that isn't Boss...that's fine too. Thanks!

| hehe hey thanks...it sounds unanimous. Should I add that price is kind of a factor...Also...why the CE-2? how does it compare to the new stuff and other chorus pedals? |

Check the 'small ad's' in local papers, gumtree, buy and sell the back of 'guitarist' and 'guitar and bass' pawn shops, car boot sales.... etc.... i found my MIJ CE-2 in the local buy and sell with HM-2 and a Blues Overdrive for 115 euro......might have to do a little legwork i'm afraid....
Drewkiewiet.... to answer your original question..in case you hadn't guessed....CE-2....... ......best of luck.....
P.S......check out all the CE-2's...i went to look at my one and fully expected it to be a MIT for the price,it was very hard to keep a straight face when i turned it over to check the label.....i couldn't get the money out fast enough and into the car and gone..... .......Lewis Hamilton would of been proud of my getaway.... ..... |

All this talk about MIJ CE-2s, keep in mind the MIT CE-2 is not a piece of trash by any means. I've owned both and I haven't really noticed a difference in their tone. Of course, I've never owned a silver-screw CE-2 so therein could lie a small difference...although I doubt it.
I still wouldn't mind trying out a CE-5, but that's just me... |
