| Just wanted to get some opinions on people's favorite boss reverbs, and possibly how they compare to some other brands. It seems like everyone likes the RV-3 a lot, but what about the RV-2? RV-5? I haven't played any of these, so I have no opinion yet! |

| RV-3, followed close by RV-5. The modulation is really nice on the 5 |

| I like RV-2 a lot but finds that I use RV-5 the most, never liked RV-3. |

Not the RV-5. Versatile? Yes. Harsh in all modes with tone past 9:00? Yes!
I like my VanAmps Sole-Mate with the Accutronics tank. TC Electronic Nova Reverb was pretty good too. |

Agree to 100% but I thought we were talking Boss pedals....
I had a Fender stand alone Springreverb a couple of years, you know the one that is of the same size as a Marshall head. This was a very, very good reverb, lots of depth and dimension. I liked it a lot but seldom had the will to carry it around, a compact pedal sounds good enough and is a bit smaller

| I was thinking about this a few days ago. I don't know many popular reverb pedals. all i could think of was the Boss RV series and the TC Electronic Nova Reverb. Are there any other good ones? |

| Yeah, tube and spring reverbs are great, BUT in terms of BOSS PEDALS, does anyone really like any? |

| Nobody's mentioned the RRV-10 yet. It's a microrack rather than a pedal, but if the form factor is useful to you, it's a good alternative. From my memory of opening them up, it shares its main IC with the RV-2. |

RV-3 is my favourite Boss reverb
Verbzilla is my favourite pedal reverb.
Eventide Eclipse rack unit is the best overall though. |
