I'll guess we should keep the "New Pedals" thread clear so I'll kick us off with this beaut..

Sweetwater SHIPS the RC-2 today!!
Btw, my Micro BR ships separately so umm.. its out too!

Here's direct links to both for your convenience:
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/RC2/
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MicroBR/
LIMITED STOCK so you better smoke 'em! Best prices I've found as well @ $179 & $229 respectively. W00T!

Grab one, grab both. It'll be a race to see who the much anticipated pedal lands on first. The Micro should be rather cool as well. They gave me a follow-up call both after the sale & at shipping. Sweetwater just rocks.

Additionally, the Micro BR manuals are available as of today at:
http://www.rolandus.com/support/product_manuals/MICRO-BR_PA.pdf
http://www.rolandus.com/support/product_manuals/MICRO-BR_AP.pdf
http://www.rolandus.com/support/product_manuals/MICRO-BR_AD.pdf
http://www.rolandus.com/support/product_manuals/MICRO-BR_OM.pdf
but alas, I cannot find the RC-2 docs as of yet. I suspect it will be made available here: http://www.rolandus.com/support/product_manuals/RC-2_OM.pdf soon.

BossArea, stand at the ready with site updates for the two products! That is of course you're waiting to get your steamy lil' hands on them first! hehe

I can't wait to try the Aux input on the RC-2!

A quick note about the Micro BR: after reading through the manual.. its gonna be a bear. Its almost like you have 4 buttons, a hundred functions, & a thousand different combinations to get to the task or setting you want. Gah!

It arrives! (along with the Micro BR)
Drat, now I must run to Guitar Center & pickup about 4 Monsters to finish hooking everything in like I want.

The manual still isn't available online in PDF format yet but it looks to be a bit daunting. Report later..

Thanks for the link. Now, if I could only get my hands on the pedal itself...

Arrived last Friday, at last.
Well, this is a very useful pedal when jamming by yourself, trying songs, play harmonies by yourself, creating more psychedelic loops etc.
I have RC-20 since a couple of years and I must say that the sound quality is better on RC-2, but it lacks REVERSE, I really miss that.
The ca 30 drum patterns in RC-2 is very good to have, RC-20 just had only one click-track.
Its amazing what this pedal can do, 16 minutes of sampling time is a lot.
Its more convenient to have an extra footswitch, but not necessary, the footswitch on RC-2 does everything if you read the manual. But to save your back, an extra double footswitch makes things easier.
The change of tempo could have a little more span, but you cant get everything
I have had fun for hours with it now I really like it.

Ive heard a rumour that says that RC-2 was manufactured in a limited number for the first batch. Anybody more heard this?
We had a topic some time ago about the new regulations regarding soldering tin and that the cartons should be marked by a symbol, well mine RC-2 dont have this symbol.

Hi StratoSphere
Did that really happen, or were you making a tongue in cheek remark?

How is the rebuild on you Jackson going, see, I was paying attention sir.

Dr. Bob,

Unfortunately yes, that did happen. But it was for a PlayStation 3, not a Boss PS-3. Fanatical Gamers!
