I have seen this guys auctions before with similar wording. I thought it was funny. Even if you just state only ships to US, you can still get a lot of inquiries from people outside the US, especially Canada. He could probably stress the fact a little more that Canada is not in the US. |

What a great attitude. Doesn't really invite any bidding no matter where you're from. |

You could ofcourse just choose to ignore such messages. I dont get it that people doesn't ship worldwide.. Perhaps a bigger mailing label but when I have dropped the packet of at my local postoffice I really don't have to worry about it any more..
Any way - no need to be rude - as Bossarea stated: doesn't really invite bidding |

| Why is it that I get an insatiable urge to ask him if he will ship to the UK... |

| Well it looks like the pedal sold fairly quickly despite the rudeness. I agree it is not a great way to word your auction. I still find it funny to read in someone else's auction though, not that I would do the same. |

It's not to hard to set up your account to block bidders who aren't in the countries you will ship to, so it's not strictly necessary.
There's a lot of sellers that screw up their chances of a good sale by being excessively draconian over their listings. I bid on an RV2 last week and the seller demanded non-US bidders contact him first. I did this, got his approval, placed a bid, logged onto my PC the next day to find he'd cancelled my bid on the grounds that I was a non-US bidder and hadn't contacted him. Claims he forgot. I was glad after the fact because he'd probably 'forget' that I'd paid, and this was a non-paypal auction. Fvcker ended up getting $53 for it - so there is justice in this world. |

I dont get why people dont ship around the world. The buyer is paying shipping anyway, so its not like your loosing anything, just getting a higher final price.
Ive only sold 1 pedal on ebay, and the guy winning it was in ireland. I got an extra ~$40.
I still ask when they say only USA, because sometimes they will send it if you ask. If not, i recomend clearpath. The seller sends it to somewhere in USA, and then the company drives it across the border and ships it in Canada to the buyer.
I was tempted to ask if he would ship though |

I did ask if he would ship, I got no response.
He said he would ship to England to any of the remaining Beatles apart from Ringo....so why didn't he just say Paul McCartney...Why the Ringo Hate? This guy is a class a twat. |
