I'm checking eBay constantly for one these days. It's not easy. They don't usually come up from within the EU. The Japanese guys ask silly money (one on there now for about 370GBP including shipping. Imagine the customs fees on that...), the Americans often don't offer international shipping and again customs come into play. No-one's going to mark it down either for obvious reasons. I'll stick at it.
Anyway! Enough of my woes. What's the general take on this? My heart leapt then sank when I saw it.

Okay, the price is bovine excreta. But for a user, isn't the mod a cool idea ? I'm not a "collector" so I am all for tinkering, making collectors gasp at such heresy.
Fess up gang, if you have a VB-2 do you use it or is it an appreciating asset ?
