Out of curiosity did you get a DF-2 Super Feedbacker & Distortion or a DF-2 Super Distortion & Feedbacker?
I have both, I like'em, but I would find them more useful overall if there was a way to get a 100% Wet Signal on the Feedback, so that you dont hear the original note you hit.
I find the distortion to be much friendlier than the DS-1 or DS-2 that it was based off of. I could really see this pedal kicking ass if Boss revisted it again with a more modern (not to be read as nu-metal) sound.
good purchase, albie..i use mine only for the feedbacker function, so i have gain set at 0. if i remember correctly this is one of those Boss's that gets WAY to harsh if you set past 12 oclock on the tone knob. but the distortion is nice, and feedback is too. btw i have "overtone" cranked so it goes into a nice harmonic feedback
