The market is speaking to this guy, and he's apparently not listening...

That's funny. Just for the record, I wasn't the "Hey dude" e-mailer this time.

Grace and peace,

That's pretty funny considering right now he has no bids. I think that his asking price is a bit high, considering the last one I saw barely made it to 300$ and was in excellent condition as well. *sigh*

You guys just go right ahead and keep pushing those prices into the ionosphere. Un-****ing-believable.

Could have bought two much more collectible (in my view, anyway) CE-1s for that much money. Guess that this is the new SP-1.

Wow, case and point. Again, this is just arbitrary price gouging, there is no way that pedal sounds like 400$ which should be the basis for these outrageous prices.

How a pedal sounds generally have nothing to do with its pricetag on the market.

Really surpised it actually sold. If the VB-2 starts selling consistently for $400 it probably won't take long before any MIJ pedal reaches the 200 mark.
Time to start collecting Behringers yet?

Collecting Behringers...?
Perhaps that should be given some serious thought.

Could get their whole range brand new for less of what this VB-2 sold for.

I still feel a bit shakey after buying my VB-2 a couple of weeks ago, about $350 right out of the window.
Of course it is not worth this amount of money but I had to have it, and thats a sign of craziness, I know
But as more and more people beginning to collect Boss-pedals (thanks in part to this forum) I think the prices will rise more, every collector wants VB-2, SP-1, SG-1 etc. And some future collectors would certainly have the money to buy at nearly any cost.
