now that is not true
it might be if you have a HUGE home.
my micro baby still is clean(ish) - you get some nice over tones but it doesn't feel like distortion yet - when I play loud enough for the neighbours to hear it.
The Micro Baby would also be my recommendation (in case you have a good EQ pedal - I do think the EQ on this amp is a bit too limited for clean sounds since there's no way of balancing the mids) |

An all tube small. You might want to consider the Fender Champ 600 reissue. One 12AX7 and a 6V6 pushing 5 Watts.
A few member here have them, & If I recall, Goran swears by his.
Regards Dr. Bob
I tried one out in the store. it seems good for the price of 149 but it seems to be missing something. i got a bunch of tubes that i could swap out in the thing to get better tone

Hi
In reference to the Fender Champ 600 reissue. quote:

One of our local music stores are asking $499au, for the Champ 600.
At our current conversion rate of 79 cents to the US dollar, that would, work out to about $190 plus freight + import duty + blah blah blah costs.
So the Oz in store mark up is a killer at over double the cost/s.
This was one of the main reasons I have stayed away from the Champ 600, & other small all tube combo's.
