now that is not true

it might be if you have a HUGE home.

my micro baby still is clean(ish) - you get some nice over tones but it doesn't feel like distortion yet - when I play loud enough for the neighbours to hear it.

The Micro Baby would also be my recommendation (in case you have a good EQ pedal - I do think the EQ on this amp is a bit too limited for clean sounds since there's no way of balancing the mids)

An all tube small.
You might want to consider the Fender Champ 600 reissue.
One 12AX7 and a 6V6 pushing 5 Watts.

A few member here have them,
& If I recall, Goran swears by his.

Regards Dr. Bob

I tried one out in the store. it seems good for the price of 149 but it seems to be missing something. i got a bunch of tubes that i could swap out in the thing to get better tone

Hi

In reference to the Fender Champ 600 reissue.

One of our local music stores are asking $499au, for the Champ 600.

At our current conversion rate of 79 cents to the US dollar, that would,
work out to about $190 plus freight + import duty + blah blah blah costs.

So the Oz in store mark up is a killer at over double the cost/s.

This was one of the main reasons I have stayed away from the Champ 600, & other small all tube combo's.
