If it's like it was with DM-2s, they'll bump up temporarily, then settle back down to something more sane. Same thing happened with HR-2s also.
This one was probably an anomaly due to condition and the inclusion of the box and manual. He got a nice bid on his SP-1 as well.
Every so often, the stars line up and you get a drunken sailor orgy like this -- then there's other times when they go for a song. Just the circumstances at that particular moment.
Cool. I have a NOS DC-2 with box and manual. Also have a second one in excellent condition with box that I use. I am still holding out hopes I will be able to sell off part of my collection in another 10 or so years to pay off my mortgage.
