Hi
Got an PS-2 today,(48 USD for it :)) but the label on the back side was taken away :(
On the chip inside the boks it says Boss R15229843 M74007 IZ2002
Is it possible to find out any thing with this numbers?
Any idea on how old this boks can be?

What are the numbers, on any of the other IC's in the PS-2.
Maybe we can get a date code, off one those IC's.

Hi. Ther is also many of other numbers inside the boks, (PS-2 ET Assy 7510752000) (PS-2 2292050401) (NE 572 D) (KLT 001) (9135 kg) (R 27 VR 5) and Korea
Tt is 2 print cards in this boks :)
hope this can helt to indentify the boks :)

According to the compact pedal section.
The PS-2 was sold from October 1987 to March 1994.
I think I can see a date code in all those numbers, (9135 kg)
Looks like a date code, if it is on one of the IC's I'm assuming the NE 572D
Then we might be able to say the the NE 572D was made around 91 week 35... as in 1991 week 35
But this only dates the chip/s inside your PS-2 box
the PS-2 may have, & was probably made sometime after 1991 week 35
Week 35 is around September.
But remember this only dates the IC/s
I am assuming you found the 9135 on the NE572D IC or other IC/s.

It's a real pain when the labels have been ripped off.
Is there a serial number inside the battery compartment?

Ther is not any serial information in the battery rom :(
i can`t see any other IC, the card is so together so it is difficulty to split them, so i cant see any other IC
