I was looking at a PSA-120S: Power Adapter and it says it gives "500 mA of current to easily power multiple pedals, even digital ones"
I was looking at the DS-2 and it uses 12mA and the MT-2 uses 20mA. So does this mean if I get a daisy chain I can use as many pedals that add up to less than 500 milli-amps?
Right now i use a universal power plug thingy that gives up to 1000, but I have a cheaper one that gives like 300 or 200.
Also I noticed there is no male adapter to the daisy chain so I have to either get one or use a EQ/Tuner that has it?
correct. you can go up to the rated mA. i would recommend leaving some headroom on (especially on digital pedals) and/or not chaining in any multi-units even if their rated current draw is lower than the total.
some of the digital pedals do use > 100mA.

correct. if you already have a tuner setup etc., the PSM-5 is kind of neat as you can easily bypass your pedal chain when playing clean/dry and they are fairly cheap.
OK this is more confusing than I thought. The BCB-60 has 7 total available connectors. The connector fits inside a hole in the pedal but fits over a center prong within that hole so I guess that makes the connector female. Counter-intuitive. Let's just say the damn thing comes with a daisy chain for 7 pedals.
Don't bother with the center pin - back out and take a wider view, and it should be clear which is the male and which is the female
For reference - male plug:
female jack (like you'll find in the pedal)
female jack plug (found on daisy chains designed to mate to the adapter directly)
Boss doesn't sell any daisy chains with a female jack plug at the beginning - theirs are all male, and are meant to be used with the TU-2 etc (the pedals with a "power out" jack). The Visual Sound MC5 will do the trick, if you want to hook up to the adapter directly. There are plenty of other makes out there too (just not Boss).
