It's not available yet but Roland says that it should be on the street early November. It's already out in Japan and has started showing up on auctions.Yahoo.co.jp already.
hmmm, i just checked it out...looks pretty good. i couldn't find a manual for it online though. so does anyone know if it has fewer features than the RC-20XL? or does it pack in all the features, but it's just not as easy to use since there's only 1 footpedal?
Well this has been covered in some other threads, but no it does not have every feature of the RC-20XL. Close, but not quite. I don't believe it has reverse (whoopdy-doo) but the big thing I don't like on the RC-2 is I don't see a EFFECT LEVEL knob. There's guide (worthless) and phrase Levels, but no Instrument or loop level! My guess is there's some kind of algorithm that auto adjusts both the loop and signal, but as a longtime looper I couldn't settle for the RC-2
