I found "N track studio" very complicated to work and it was usually a fluke when the right thing happened. It has great effects and a good drum machine but tends to freeze up a bit which is very annoying. I also downloaded "Audacity" plus plug ins which is an excellent editing program and simple to use but has poor effects. Unfortunately the two programs dont talk to each other unless it is converted to MP3 first then I can transfer the recording from one to other. I have posted two tracks so have a listen and just remember the solo and scale thing is fairly new to me. I need to learn to play a Bass guitar as well so I can add that. http://www.valvetronix.net/valvetronix/clean/light-n-funky/details_822.html http://www.valvetronix.net/valvetronix/rock/rock-on-for-recording-original-composition/details_819.html
Yes the tracks are recorded on the newly built Strat. No the recording software I downloaded to my Laptop. Using a cheap Phillips mike plugged into the soundcard, I sat it real close 10mm to the amp speaker and recorded those clips.
