So ive just got a TR-2.
I got it real cheap from ebay because it was really dirty, missing its bottom label and it had no box and manual.
I can hear the horrible volume drop and its really starting to bother me.
So i can solder, but ive never soldered a pedal, so im not quite sure what i should do.
Its annoying me already!!

(Hey Dr.Bob, wanna fix it for me?? I can pay you)

Man I'm 14 and I did the mod. You simply pull of the capacitor marked 'C4'
I'd wait for one of the pros (ie Laurie, Dr Bob) incase I've done something wrong, but my volume drop went. I didn't bother changing the LED or anything btw.

IIRC, I changed R9 to fix my volume drop. The stock value is 10K, I think I changed mine to 4.7K. If anything, the effect is slightly louder than bypass now, but only very slightly.

3.3K would make the effect even louder, 5.6K less loud.

Try 4.7K and see how you like it, then adjust from there.
