nice find, i personally love telecasters too and have told myself that i won't get a strat til my tele is nice and beat up.
i can definitely tell you're a bass player at heart, that's some mean strumming and plucking on your tele. the audio in the vid breaks up past 1 minute or so, but otherwise nice playing and i'm sure it will only get better as time goes on!
I love Telecasters to, and I'm not worried about getting a strat, becuase I want more Telecasters! |

'Grats'! I didn't appreciate a Tele since the last months: my life was full of humbuckers (you can see it on my site) also when I've bought a Strato I've installed a mini hb on the bridge... but I've tried a Tele of 1952 (or '54 I don't remember well) anyway, I've tried it on my Marshall JCM900 combo 100w valves... the clean is C L E A N, with a "drop" of OD3 the sound it's something of inexplicable... a sort of cream on velvet. Then we tried with crunch starting from Led Zep, passing through KISS, Judas, Black Sabbath, Maiden and finish to Metallica... I could not believe to my ears: very very very hard! |

Pretty much my beliefs about the Tele as well, though in the 2006 edition of Fender Frontline, they do show a pic with one of the dudes from Sepultura using a Big Block Tele...though I guess technically they are more thrash metal than death metal, but its all metal to me, and I like it... |

I am a firm believer that on the 8th day God created the Telecaster... |

I can understand a fan's point of view: I've bought JEM 'cause Steve Vai, so the Destroyer (1983) 'cause it was one of the guitars more used in the heavy metal, Les Paul for Ace Frehley and also Zakk Wylde. But I slave my money cent by cent and I can't see in my guitars a microscopic scratch: payin' thousands of dollars for a scratched relics or an artist copy... sorry... maybe I'm limited. |

I like looking at the well made relics, and am horrified when I look at some of the homemade relics on eBay as they look like power tool accidents half the time. I like looking at them because they are sort of a destructive art form, but I would never buy one for myself because to me its like buying pre-ripped jeans... |

I think this is not really what you could call "Punk" spirit :
http://www.fender.com/joestrummer/

Strummer had his own Telecaster, that's all, why tryin' making money with that ? Is it a joke ?
I do love looking at artists Tele, but not to "copy and paste". |
