I made this the other day. I sort of just turned the camera on and played whatever. I wanted to try and show everyone how nice this amp is.
You may remember the thread on this amp awhile ago...

Nice clean sound, I'm sure it takes pedals pretty well.

It really does take pedals well. I cut down a lot of pedals because I don't want to mess with its crispy clean sound. I don't know that much about true bypass, and how boss pedals apparently screw with your sound because they are not true bypass and this and that. But my pedal chain has been like this for a few weeks now:
Cry baby 95q, korg pitchblack, boss ph-1r, blackstar ht-dual, boss ce-2, boss re-20, boss rv-3.
And I really can't tell the difference between having my pedals plugged in and them not plugged in. I've heard the 95q is a tone sucker but whatever. I quite like my rig.
I guess it also helps that im using quality cables as well

Hi hateandwar

+1 with Pedal Dan on this one.
Now that's Rock & Roll

I see/hear you have "now & forever" been indoctrinated into the School of Tube Amps.

From the Schematics, it looks near enough identical to most Old Fender
amps, I'm not surprised it sounds so good.
Plus you are running it in a Marshall 4x12 with vintage Celestion's.

I hope you bought your good Uncle a few slabs or something stronger.

Regards Dr. Bob

I'm with Dr Bob on this one...i had a feeling from the internal pics that it would sound great..the construction was very neat and tidy which lends to the thoughts that the amp wil sound good if that level of craftsmanship was put into it in the first place....

As Dr B pointed out as well the speakers/cab construction play a big part in the overall tone as i have also found in my tonal quest over the years...

Thanks bob and franz, yep im completley and utterly addicted to tube amps.
Ive still got the old sovtek 5881s and electro harmonix 12ax7s in her. If the stuff i have on ebay sells maybe i shall buy some new JJs or something.

Yeah the guy i got it off said back in the day they used to market these amps as a copy or alternative to the more expensive fender and marshall amps.

And yep i like the marshall quad alot too, i still havent had a look to see what speakers are in it.

I dream of that tone at times - that is one hell of an amp - nice find and great that it's being used as it should be once again.

One of the best clean tones that I've ever heard on an amp
Great chops too!

You got yourself a monster there
