Midnight Traffic is very well produced... i'm not suffering the sub-bass dropout, probably because I've got it going through my Roland studio monitors. Powerful stuff indeed, but not entirely my taste.
will d/l Temporal Storm track soon. |

Hi DeFrag
The real simple answer is yes. But the real answer is, it was multiple thunderstorms. Some in the city, my old home, my friends home & my new home.
Recorded on one channel with a SM57, & the other channel was done with a SM58. I didn't have my match pair of pencil condensers then.
It was multi tracked for impact, some tracks were resampled, to a lower bit rate. Some tracks were slightly repitched.
The synthetic slightly off heartbeat was either done with my old Korg Mini700 mono synth (70's gear), or some VST, & then processed with some Audio tools/app. I can't remember, it was final mixed back in 2003.
the problem with working on these types of Ambient Soundscapes is deciding when the track is finished. And if it's too busy or too simple.
If you set your audio player to loop the track, it loops pretty spot on.
I'm probably giving it away, a little bit too early, but there is an Easter Egg, or Ear Candy, whatever you want to call it, buried in the track. Wonder who finds it first?
Rain is Exceeding difficult to record & work with, it sometimes sounds like a bacon in a frying pan or a fire.

Hi sp-1
To make it fair for everyone, I'll let this run for a few days. I won't give away anymore. And I won't say yes or no, to anyone's post.
Just write your answers: 1. Time? 2. What you think the Easter Egg-Ear Candy is?(what sound you think you heard)
sp-1: What did you think you heard, at 1 min 32 sec?
And thanks to you sp-1 & Goran. I do honestly have an idea in mind, for the prize. And no, it's not one of my CE-2's or money, or a night out with T.D.
Regards Dr. Bob |

Well Dr Bob, Temporal storm was really something for me! Very good idea! As all the music Ive heard from you there is a psychical dimension to it, I like that. I now have four songs with you and I want more (I like to compile a CD), so please, if you have any more hidden treasures please let me (us) know..

Don't do that!!!!!!!!! If you play it backwards, it will open a Temporal Rift, & you'll never see your Boss pedals again.
It's one of the other secrets of the track. I didn't call it "Temporal Storm" just for fun.
Seriously, I would be surprised if you could listen to all of it backwards. I tried for a bit, & it was toooooo different, it has a totally different & strange underlying rhythm (backwards).
The Lincon stuff, I don't know about that? I have never driven one, until it breaks down. Besides, can I ask? What were you smoking or drinking at the time.....
Come on guys & girls, no other takers on the Easter egg in Temporal Storm?

Thanks Goran. Have you tried to listen to it very loud? it gets pretty exciting.
Who ever finds the Easter Egg in Temporal Storm, will be the first, to get a copy, of the companion track to Temporal Storm.
So far I have only SP-1 has been keen enough to attempted a guess.

I think bossarea hooligans aren't in for guessing games. Remember I started the bossconnaisseur game a while ago where people had to guess what bosspedal it was ? very few response. Bossarea Hooligans rather play their pedals instead |
