I just bought a MZ-2 used, but I cant hear any difference in the sound when I turn the mode knob. The distortion is the same no matter which position its in. And in the B output there is only sound in the sgl. mode. Is it broken or is it me, and if, can it be repeared? Thanks
It might need repair. I tested one out and everything worked. try it without anything in output B and see if it sounds better. I know that when i use my CE-3 in stereo with mode B it doesn't sound as good to my ears. But in mode 1 it sounds really lush. but try it in mono and post back to let us know.
anyway. i also know someone who has the same problem., exactly the same. try using different kinds of adaptor. preferably compare it when using PSa or ACA. if nothing happens, then i think you should follow GOb's advice.
same problem with my mz-2 using a generic adaptor.
but...
using a battery, output b can only give me straight distortion regardless of what mode is selected. but i noticed when using the doubler modes in output b after u played a note, the sound will not come out of your amp right away. there's a slight delay time...
but using output a, no problem whatsoever! killer 80's metal sounds!
