I hope this is the right section, if not I authorize the admin to move this topic in the right one.
This is a very short guide to use Paint for the creation of a very fake pedalboard.
Please don't blame me, but I'm pro with graphic and I never used this program.
Also, sorry for my bad english but, as you know, isn't my native language. But I know that your italian isn't better!
1. Start Paint (this is easy)
2. Edit/Paste from, search for the directory containing pedals images and choose and load all the pedals you wish one by one;
3. Position all the pedals near and at least more aligned as possible;
4. Choose the icon with magnifier and click in an area that comprises all the pedals;
5. Choose Grid (CTRL+G)
6. With the help of the grid it's possible align more precise the pedals.
ATTENTION to move the pedals you must select the Selection icon (the first up in the right column) and click with left mouse button around the pedal, then if you move the mouse cursor upon the pedal selected should appears a cross cursor with an arrows on any tip, NOW you can move the pedal. Isn't my fault, Paint it's a very simple program!
7. When you have positioned all your pedals as you wish (I suggest not too much far one by other: at least a dozen of square of the grid right and left) choose the Line icon (the sixth from up in the left colum), then choose the bigger one (the fifth in the window above all tools);
8. Push and hold the shift key and do a line from pedal to pedal.
You can use the same tool to create angles or diagonals (in this last option without the shift key pressed), isn't so hard, just training!
You can add text above any pedal (the icon with an A), but you must deselect the zoom function to use it!
That's all. |

Hi Fabius Our Italian friend.
Great write-up on using your pedal graphics. Maybe you could post a small example.
By the way some of us here have Macs as well. Thanks for all your Fabiusous (fabulous) work, on those pedal graphics.
Regards Dr. Bob

I've thought it, but there are some problems, first of all the fact that my Paint is localized in italian. But I will think about a solution.

I've thought this one too, but I don't know what can I do.
There's the way to download, install and use the trial version of Photoshop (with limit of 30 days) with this program I could do a better work. |
