I've never even seen (in person) or held a GE-6. Should I trade a 9/10 PH-1r (#423xxx) for a very nice blackscrew GE-6 (050xxx)?? The 1r was acquired for very little money. I have a second, lesser condition PH-1r (SS) which I am loathe to part with. Even the newer one makes me feel this way. Maybe I never want to get rid of any pedals.
So.. do the fine members of Bossarea feel that it would be a fair trade? Or should I hold out and buy a GE-6 when the right one comes along (and when I have money to buy pedals )??

I'm not a collector but i would keep both and wait for another GE-6 come along... i have about 5 or 6 boss pedals that i don't or can't see myelf using in the forseeable future but it's nice to have them there....sods law.... if you do trade you will probably come across a mint GE-6 in pawn shop for $25 in a couple of weeks......
The pedals are mostly for collecting.. If I were playing I would probably step on this 1r over my long-dash SS one.
Maybe I will hold out for now.. it's just the GE-6 is a pretty rare beast around here. I'll just keep my eyes peeled for another cheap 1r I can trade the guy.
If the GE-6 was SS, I'd be more inclined to do the trade. This one is among a smaller quantity of black-screw GE-6s (only made up to 070XXX), but which aren't as collectable as the SS ones (made from 6600 onwards). I think I need one of each!!
