i only have 2 of these units. RCL-10 which i really think is useless, and the RDD-10 which is unexplainably cool. first off, the delay is beautiful. but i can sit there all day just twisting knobs making funky noises. especially with the modulation. and you can set the feedback control so that it feedbacks louder and louder. kinda sounds like a broken airplane flying at you. this unit will work very nicely with the RC-2!!

Sorry. I've been away from these forums for quite a long time. Which scans are you after?

Hi Boss Freak
I was looking for more scans of the settings for the RDD-10, I remember there was a 12 string setting in the manual.

there is a couple shown on your site here.

I don't have the RDD-10 manual. Last year I bought all the micro rack units but only got manuals for the RGE-10 and RPW-7. Luckily most can be downloaded but as you already know, not the RDD-10.
Unfortunately I don't have any more info than can be found on the page you linked to.

Ooops sorry about that Boss Freak, slip of the old brain.

Thanks for answering my query BossArea.

I will try and get some scans, I still know a few people who had these effects units when they first came out.

Great site by the way

hi
anyone know what size screw fits in the bottom of the micro rack effects units to clamp to the mini rack?
i read it in the forum somewhere but cant find it.
I am also looking for the little LED holder on the EQ unit, 1 of mine is missing as well as the LED. They must work in banks of 3 (Try pulling one out and see what happens, it knoscks out power to other 2 beside it )
if any1 has the Delay 20 and the parametric eq for sale let me know also, I can also swap for other micro units as I have a few doubles if you have swap available for those 2 I am after.
cheers

Yesterday I got a RPS-10 in fine condition and plugged it in to see if it worked OK, it did
But, holy shit, I had fun for hours with it, forget to eat etc.
The delay part of it is very, very good, some circuit roll of the high-end as the delays sways away, it sounds very much like a tape echo. The inverse/reverse setting is also very funny, but can be found in DD-6, DD-20 etc
Pitch shifting is very good, much easier than PS-2 to get a decent tone.
But the golden setting of this machine is the inversed pitch shifting, set both shift controls at about one oclock the feedback on 100% and you are making sounds never heard before, and it sounds good too. Very, very funny.
I highly recommend this micro rack to everybody who likes making experimental music or things like that. Youre going to be a One Man Band !!!!
