Ive discovered something new about the cs-1 today.ive read about the Boss aca and psa adaptors from the Stinkfoot site, brought out the pedal and tested it again.im using a dunlop brick(9vdc) to power all my pedals.this is the result :
if i place only boss pedals which indicates aca adaptor at the back label in the chain,eg:cs-1,tw-1,ds-1,ce-2(all aca version),the cs-1 sounds weird with the mentioned delay and loud thud, the led is noticeably not lit up fully.but when i mix them with another psa Boss pedal,or other pedals like a dunlop wah in front,or a maxon delay at the back, the led is lit full, and the problem is gone.I have to say,the cs-1 sounded really good!though Stinkfoot mentioned using a daisy chain to encounter the different voltage/adaptor requirement for those Boss pedals,it dint work for me.im yet to find out whats really going on technically, but at least,im glad.
