| I did.... it wasnt great. Both chorus sounds were stereotypically digital, the Flanger did a weird "double stop" at the bottom of the depth cycle, the Phaser wasn't worthy of the title (a better name would have been "ffffth") and the Step Phaser was pointless. The UniVibe setting was quite good, though - very Gilmour-esque. You can get them for a pittance (40 new), though, so if you like the Uni Vibe sound it might be worth a punt. |

Thanks, Caliban. I sort of suspected that; so often these "all-in-wonder" things just simply do everything badly...I am, however, impressed with my Guv'nor Plus, so I've been wondering about the other Marshall offerings... As for a UniVibe sound...I'm hoping to pick up a Voodoo Lab Micro Vibe tomorrow...

I like the Marshall distortion pedals, but I really don't rate their modulation pedals (the VibraTrem one is the strangest pedal I have ever owned - I have never found another pedal so sensitive to the input voltage it receives).
A Voodoo Lab Micro Vibe? I'm jealous. Do let us know what you think.... |
