I heard this thing was in my town & I ran in to see it.
Alas, my friend picked up its trail as it headed off again down the highway.
We chased it for about 15 miles until it stopped.
We were hoping for some free chili-dogs & wienie-whistles to be handed out by bikini clad women.. but it was not to be.

Anyway, I haven't seen it since the 70s & thought it was a nice chase nonetheless.

I'm proud to say that I've seen one of the Wienermobiles (I think there are/were four) in person....

Yeah, I have seen one in person as well as there was one getting painted or worked on at this one auto body place that my brother and I used to mountain bike by when I was living in Maryland...
