For now I'm still busy with the compact pedals but I may regret it in a year or two. DB-5s don't exactly grow on trees so it may be difficult to get hold of them and the price might just go up too.
I don't particularly like this design though. Big, round, heavy and mains powered. |

But the color! That beautiful color!
I got a CE-1 that had to be signed for, so my wife went to the postal substation to get it. The box had a puncture, so they decided that they should open it to check it for damage. This was one of those, "you had to be there moments" as they pull this pedal out of the box and look at each other and say, "What IS it?" |

Looks good, but what about the sound?
I agree with the mention of the CE-1, it is from the same period, there is the Jet Phaser as well and..............there are some others pedals too from the same period, so plenty of scope to extend the collection.

That is the thing eh? They are big and boss did do their best to get their compactpedals to perform as these beasts so................
And just for now, watch the price, and still 2 more days to go. Guess it will end just under 200 or just go a little over it. Too much? No since they are rare but then you may not really need it.
The equalizer looks cool I think. Heh why would one need an EQ on a distortion, sure this must be a sign that the distortion on its own does not sound that great Just joking.................... |
