Hello,
I am trying to wire up my modded MT-2 Metal Zone to a DPDT footswitch with a new input jack and I can't tell which wires from the MT-2 go where. I would be very happy if someone could tell me which wires of the MT-2 go to the tip of the jack, which wire is the beginning of the circuit and which wires are the end of the circuit. Basically, how do I wire the guitar signal from the jack to the DPDT switch out the other end of the switch and to the output jack. I AM SO CONFUSED!!!.

Thanks.

I saw that and I've been staring at the jacks for the MT-2 for two days and I can't figure it out. I've gotten rid of the red wire as I am not using the battery, but I can't tell which wire begins the effect circuit and which ends it. I also can't determine which wire goes to the sleeve and which to the tip of the jack on the minijacks.

Hi Busk! The schematic is at the link below. It will tell you what the numbered connection points on the board attach to.

Thanks Dr. Bob.

I got this sorted out last night. Now, I have two modded MT-2's that are each a little different, and a DS-1 that I can switch between LEDs and silicon diodes.

Gotta start modded stuff that's not a distortion pedal...
