I can't tell you how many times I didn't go for a C'list deal because of poor weather and long drives. Sometimes the score IS yours though.. 
sometimes I wonder if I'm the freak who want someone else's junk (expired film and the like..)  |

Dr Bob,
It was a Boss FZ-2 with box for $30US. It looked to be in mint condition from the photo.
I missed a Boss DS-1 and HM-2 for $15US each a while back. I called the guy and wanted to stop by, but he was at work. He said he'd call after he got off work so I could go by and check them out. I never heard from him, and even tried calling again, but he had turned his cell phone off. Another craigslist douchebag

Yup, that wasn't going to stay up there long.
Don't be sad though Tung. Hopefully the news that I won a long dash DS-1 on eBay today will cheer you up!!! |

Good deals to be had where you all are.. the cheapest you see any pedal is $25, and that's rare (and I scooped it! 10/10 Mint XT-2!) Most are a lot closer to market value - sometimes you get a bit of a deal on something uncommon or rare.. $40 for a long-dash DS-1 in 8/10 comes to mind. DM-2s are beat up and overpriced here.
I live so far uptown that it's hard to get to where most of the deals are - but one guy was just streets away in my suburb (GE-7B in an MIJ GE-7 box) - great luck considering how wide my search area is. |
