Wow, I've (pardon the pun) struck a chord.
Maybe we could create a generic box that does not brand the boxes with boss identity but used the colour schemes only. For my sins I am a graphic designer and creating the template would be no problem as would matching up the basic colour schemes.
We could start off with a limited number, work on a not for profit basis amongst the boss comminity and maybe run some stock off on ebay to cover costs of further or limited runs. In most cases manufacturers will run an order of 100 but lager is obviosly more cost effective.
Any thoughts

| Sounds like a good idea, or possibly you could make them 'to order'. Maybe start with the coloured ones, and then make them to order more specifically if you get a high demand? |

the thing is that it im guessing it would be illegal to make your own copies and sell them. if anyone was to do try making their own, they should keep it very low profile and secretive because the last thing we need is 800 fake VB-2 boxes floating around EBAY.
but im still willing to go in on getting some made if anyone knows how |

Hi Guys
Good to see the level of interest. I agree with stratosphere making exact replica's is not the way forward, and given the business I'm in I see enough ripping off of IP going on, It's not on.
The purpose of this exercise is to house our pedals in an appropriate and cost effective way. My idea thought is to create generics with little identifying info other than the colour and model name.
If there is enough demand then I will approach a number of manufacturers to price up the job. I know most of you are state side (I Live in the UK) it would be useful if someone there could obtain a similar supplier. I could supply the spec and tech detail for anyone willing to take on the task.
Cheers Pawlo |

| I would be into it if they had just the color and the model name like you said. |

| Doh, a little more measurements and I realize that the parts of the box won't fit on an A3 size paper. I had planned to utilize the A3 colour laser printer at work but that's out the window now. Looks like using a professional box maker is a better solution after all. |

Great idea everyone. I don't like having loose pedals without boxes and it would be great just to have a box to keep them in which stacks nicely with my other boss boxes!
I can feel a weekend project coming on. I like Bossareas idea but I would be keen to order boxes too.

Only one for me, it's hard to when you get older.
It's not the ROTF that's hard, it's the getting up on your own |

I love that guy's box! Not so sure about his art work though
Maybe he was just a trend setter and knew that home made Boss pedal boxes would be the next big thing on eBay!
Now if I can just work out the dimensions he used ...
