Now maybe im way off with what i would spend on a probable mij ds-2 with instructions but is it just me or have these bidders gotten a bit crazy... maybe a few too many

how could you use a buddy for bidding though? i mean how could the friend know when to stop bidding so they dont outbid the top bidder and actually win?

chance i guess. They might just be bidding to see where the reserve is set too doing it in little bits not to pay too much over the reserve.

it's a security measure and it's been that way as long as i've been on ebay.

I've seen DS-2's in local ad's for between �40/60 on gumtree.... there is a SD-1 going for �20 and a OS-2 for �30 at the moment locally...the was also a DC-3 a couple of weeks back going for �95 which seemed like a a good price for a MIJ boss pedal.. ..also looked clean from the pics...i usually keep an eye on local ad's for a bargain and i'm starting to notice a downward movement on prices of boss pedals here...

Id say 75$ is a reasonable price for a mij ds-2. Once you hit 100$ youre for sure a sucker.
