| I have yet to read anything bad about the sound, or reliability of Bill Lawrences' solder-less cables, not to mention it is fairly inexpensive, all good news to me. Been thinking about using it for my board, whatcha' think gang? http://www.billlawrence.com/Pages/Connector_Cable.htm |

i wouldn't go with the solderless ends it just can add another problem that is hard to diagnose.I would go with a solder end. As to do with low capacitance. I am not saying going very low is the best thing. I am using mogami 2425 cable which has a capacitance of 39. 20 for me would seem like a very bright sounding cable. you have to think about your musical style. if you are using alot of heavy distortion which mostly needs a very low end sound to it. i don't think this is the best cable for you. I play alot of jazz, country and blues so a very bright sounding cable would not be good for me. but some times i have to play rock. so i stuck with a cable in the middle with a capacitance of about 39. you can check out this site this guy makes custom cables. and is pretty informative on cables in the site.

| Originally I was going to get some Canare GS6 cable and some Switchcraft ends, or what ever, and just make my own. I just saw the BL stuff and the reviews he was getting, and thought of it as an easy out. |

| Which Bill Lawrence? Aren't there 2 Bill Lawrences that make pickups? One is the original, the other is just someone with the same name who also decided to make pickups...I thought I read something about that or am I very confused this morning? |

There are actually 2 Bill Lawrence pickup related websites: http://www.billlawrenceusa.com/
http://www.billlawrence.com/index.html
So I wasn't confused...just confused as to which one is which now
Actually the one you have listed is the real Bill Lawrence...When I lived in Nashville I met a girl who said she was Bill Lawrence's daughter, what a weirdo she was...seriously...not in a good way weirdo, more in the stalker weirdo way... |

As long as she isn't violent, but if that's your thing... |

I don't mind stalkers, but at the time, she was jailbait, and that was just one of the many issues about her that I just had to pass even though I may have been able to get a sweet hook-up on some pickups ... |
