What is your opinion on Wharfedale PA Gear? Specifically on Wharfedale powered mixers? Found these here for a good price...

Wow, they look like great products.

I'll be interested in seeing what people say about 'em.

Anyone ever used some of the stuff?
They're supposedly good quality... What would you buy for a band, for live use, in bars, etc? Peavey powered mixers?

Laurie would probably be the best person to answer this...but my band uses a dynacord powermate 1600 powered desk with a crossover and a 1300 watt peavey power amp to power the bass bins(desk powers the tops) the speakers are peavey eliminators...big and heavy and probably a bit old but very robust and have survived many years of constant gigging and always sound good...even survived the asssult of a couple of large drunken punters one night who managed to push one of the stacks over and trash the top of my LS-2.......also use some EV tops in a gig we do(part of the house PA) which have impressed me with their sound....not sure of the exact model but small and lightweight and ideal for small to medium pub gigs.....

Edit:- the model of the EV's is possibly SX 300 ..or something like that......
