Tonight at GC my son & I tried this little wonder out & I have to say it is an Orange Tiny Terror killer! My TT is by far one of the best tone monster Class-A amps available but it doesn't have much clean tone. The Egnater Rebel 20 however, has great cleans even at lower (spongy) power settings! The top didn't even get warm at higher settings.
The Egnater Rebel 20 sports the following feature set:
* 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes * 2 x GT-EL84 power tubes * 2 x GT-6V6 power tubes * Tight & Bright voicing switches * Variable 1W to 20W * Tube Mix control to blend between American or British power tubes * Effects Loop * Shoulder bag included * 4, 8, & 16-ohm speaker outputs * 14.25”(W) x 8.25”(D) x 7.5”(H) * 16lbs
All controls have wonderful effective range. Sweeping from 1W to 20W or mixing between the 6v6 tubes & the EL-84 tubes is instantly noticable. At a street price of $599(USD), this amp is extremely versatile with the sounds available, portability, & besides the Blackheart series amplifiers, probably the best value I've found yet for quality. This thing has been on my wish-list ever since I learned of its release but now, its quickly garnered top-spot.
We ran it through the Egnager 2x12 cabinet which is wired for stereo & even has a removable panel to convert to a semi-open backed cab. Folks, this little amp is phenomenal. I highly suggest you take it for a test-drive!

| Where's it made for $599?? The TT was Korean @ first, but I think they're Chinese now.. In that case, will we see upgrade kits for this, like the Epiphone Valve Jr? |
