450 BIN is a little crazy, but if i had a DM-2 in that kinda shape with box and everything i would set a BIN that high too. you never know what some collectors will pay.
a few months ago i had a plain old Black Screw TW-1 with box. everything was in pretty good shape, but by no means mint. i started bidding at something reasonable like 70 bucks and thought "what the hell. its got the box maybe some buyer will really want it." so i set a BIN for 140USD. and it sold with BIN for 140.
last night, my TW-1 sold for $80 BIN with no box, and actually had trouble selling it. i definately got lucky with the first TW-1 but it shows what collectors will do if they want it bad enough at the given time.

It is in great condition looking at the photos and it comes with box and manuals. For a collector who must have a mint pedal with box, etc. price may be a secondary concern.

Like Stratosphere said you just never know who will spend what on these things!!!

its true...i had a DF-2 a while ago that was completely tore up. It worked fine, but there was no paint left on it, and you couldnt even tell what it was if the names over the knobs came off. I thought i would get $50 for it, but I thought i should start listing it at 75 to see if anyone would buy it. A couple people bid, and it ended up selling for $150cad! There were mint DF-2s there at the same time for less, so i was thinking it was a joker who bid on it, but i got the money, and shipped it out to ireland.
profit of $120
