Dasbeef, I noticed you don't use the return/send of your NS-2, have you tried it? Is there any difference at all?

I guess Pepe has answered about the knobsgate case everytime he has posted pics of his pedals Gotta disagree with you there, I love the original choices from Boss and hate it when their pedals come like those of the CE-5 or the BF-3.

Hey Mansun,
Not, I have not tried the pedals through the loop. But I will. Today I was more going for, 'What's staying on this board, and what's going'. I came to the conclusion, I need more pedals! But also, I need to use less dirt. I even need to sell/trade some of the dirt.
I will get round to trying it though, and I will post my findings!

Also found with the pb1000 the supplied power cord was too long and really meant for the behringer's side adapters.
two roland 8-male power cord fits and is neater, place a ns2/ls2/tu2 in the upper right or lower left and run the second one to the rest

Remove the heel switch and it has a much wider sweep. I find the cry baby, vox & morley settings nice, especially with he variable wah range.

Payed 55 delivered about 2 years ago, for the times I use wah (not ALL the time, it works a treat)

Looking goood Keith!

Have you tried the Whammy nearer the start of your chain? I found it tracks slightly better there

I have not, no. I haven't really messed about with the whammy position. I just bunged it in there, because I knew I wanted it before the delays, so I could get echoing whammy sweeps. I did notice that the tracking wasn't great, but I just put it down to the fact that I haven't done the calibration yet.
I have tried a whammy pedal previously, and when the heel was down, it did change the pitch slightly. This one doesn't. This is why I've been holding off on the calibration. Maybe the other one wasn't calibrated properly?

Hey, DasBeef! Wouldn't it be better if you swapped your delays? I'd put the DM-2 with its short delay time before the DD-3 (or is it a DD-2? Can't see it...). And isn't the CS-1 after your distortions too noisy?

Two good spies. Yes, my CS-1 is mega noisy after my distortions, and that's why it's before my NS-2. Are you suggesting I put it first in the chain? (Well after my TU-2)
It's a DD-3. I will try it the other way round. I just thought getting the analogue goodness last in the chain would preserve it?

What you think?

I still think I need to drop either the SD-1 or the TS9DX. I also need to drop either the MD-2 or the MT-2. This will free up 2 spaces. One for Reverb, and one for ___________? Answers on a postcard please....

Have you tried the compressor before the dirt? I like using my compressor to fatten out my crunchy overdrives. Personally I would keep the MD-2 and Tubescreamer and ditch the MT-2 & SD-1. But do what ever you think is best mate

The SD-1 is MIJ, so it sounds way better than the Taiwan ones. Hence the trouble deciding. As for the MT/MD dilemma, I'm slowly leaning towards the MD-2. Just a fatter sound. I do really like the MT-2 as well though. It's a tough decision!
