I have a chain consisting of a PQ-3B or a GE-7B (depends on the bass i play) LM-2B -> BF-2B -> OC-2. I was wondering if it still is useful to buy an EH-2 since i already have an equalizer in the setup. |

| I don't think it would hurt, since you're running quite a few pedals in your signal path already. It should serve a purpose and you may even want to ditch the EQ after using it. |

Also the EH-2 is NOT an equalizer, it is more subtle, but yep, one could explain that the EH-2 works on the principle of a Parametric EQ.
So how many does one need it the signal chain? All depends eh.
I really like this set-up: Parametric EQ--> Chorus-->Sanspreamp-->EH-2-->Reverb. The Parametric EQ just adds some bass to the chorus [bass is ususually the missing factor in a lot of pedals, it also makes a chorus more pronounced, if you add to much [Heh, that is why I use a Parametric instead of a Graphic] you could easily "Mud-Up" your chorus sound. The EH-2 at the end of the signalchain just adds some brightness [or midrange or bass, depending on its setting], this is the icing on the cake.
Yes you can do without it, but once you own one you will like it, and you can use them in any set-up, so really, once you have one you may use it all the time. Cool!!! |

| I use my EH-2 in the effects loop of my amp. It adds clarity to my chords, and it also does the same when run in front of my amp. it really restores the treble loss from the amount of pedals I use in front of my amp. |
