UPDATE: New pictures of my former 3 string guitar, I put on 6 strings again and changed the look with some stickers and stuff. It's tone is quite cool, it has a pretty small body but it has tons of volume and bass.

The finish is: Relic red/black bullseye w/ racing stripe and sticker look |

Hi Joske Turbo
The thing I like the most, is your "Custom Packing String" guitar strap.
I remember having one just like it on my first home built guitar, when I was just starting out. They rule..

Cheers Dr. Bob and Kulten! @ Bob: I don't really get what you mean with "Custom packing string" guitar strap. Do you mean the strap on the guitar? It's just a piece of rope. |

Hi Joske Turbo Yes I meant the piece of rope. I was trying to make it sound like it was a very expensive custom made strap.
I really used to have one like that - my dad/mum made it for me. when I was first starting out.

| Just bought myself a brand new Fender Jaguar. I'll try to rustle up a pic or two... I also have a Fender Baritone HH Special in the post. Exciting days! |

Help me name my new Fender Jaguar... I bought him in Qubec, so I think he needs a French name...
This pic is of it relaxing on the couch in my hotel room in Ottawa... now I just have to figure out how to get it back to Australia in one piece...
I've been pretending I'm John Frusciante (by playing Blood Sugar era RHCP songs, not by taking lots of drugs)... or did he use a Jazzmaster on Blood Sugar? I can't remember.

Hi natthu First of all, very nice Jaguar! Assuming you are going to stick with tradition, & give it a woman's name, my suggestion is:
Ruby

Cheers Dr. Bob... It's a Mexican but plays really nicely. With a bit of tweaking and a proper set-up it should be awesome. I'm not really one for tradition (my Highway 1 tele has a man's name: "Hank"... just seemed appropriate for a Truckin' guitar) but I will add your suggestion to my list of potential names. "Ruby" would be appropriate, it doesn't really show so much in the photo but the colour is a very beautiful deep dark red.
