Hi laurie
I have the Schematics for the DL5 & the DL10.
In fact it was the very first Tech type rebuild-repair post I did on the forum.
You will find it in the Tech & Mods threads. But you will have to dig deep, it;s quite a few pages back.
I also have an article about increasing the delay time on the DL5, with the old piggy back RAM trick. Just remember, the RAM is the older 4164 64Kx1 chip. I had to go into my archive of 1980's chips, to get a replacement for the dead one in my DL5.
Regards Dr. Bob

Thanks Dr. Bob! Jack was kind enough to give me a link on another thread that led to the schematic and mod documents. I will seriously look at the RAM extension - if I can find a 4164 in the junk box!

I'm quite excited about the DM-2. I should have it in about a week.
I'm also very interested in hearing the HM-3 when it comes... I've heard they are a bit harsh (too much high frequency). Might have to look at figuring out a mod. |

Hi Laurie The HM-3 is a lot better than it's reputation. It loves Humbuckers & real Tube amps. Heaps of bottom end, on my rig.
I dig mine out now & then, when I feel like making Big Marshall type noises, that sound like they are coming out of a 4x12.
I call it my "lots of Smiles" pedal.

Found an SD-1 at the pawnshop, I had to buy it because I already had the box for an SD-1 that my Blues Driver came in. So that makes 28 Boss compacts and 2 Boss wahs |

Hmmm... I wonder what it will sound like through my Marshall and 4x12 Looking forward to finding out.
On a related topic - found a head identical to my current one (JCM600 - it's a bit rare) for a good price, so am going to get a late birthday present... I've been wanting to duplicate my amp for a while to get stereo |

Hi Dr. Bob. It is MIT July 2005. It is in as new condition, and I paid $30 no tax. A new SD-1 is $49.99 plus tax, so not a great deal but I saved about $25, and I already had the box. It works pretty good with my Classic 30 and Les Paul. I haven't tried it with single coils yet.

| Just got a DF-2, black label made in Taiwan? Sounds just like it should. Have a Boss FZ-3 coming in the mail as well. |

yup.... and the box wasn't even advertised :O)
it's my first roughed up pedal... I quite like it though....
and it's a great little pedal....
it can self-oscilate like crazy... something my otherwise superb AD99 couldn't do at all. |
