how do i permanantly change the tempo of the song? It seems to only allow me to temporarily change the tempo, even when i save the song with the desired tempo.
I had the same problem when I tried to rename a song. It accepted the new name but the change only lasted temporarily. The 3rd time I saved it, the change was made permanent.
You can download a soft copy of the manual from rolandus.com. There's a lot of functions in that little box so you really need the instructions (well, I do anyway).
If i remember correctly I think you first need to bounce all tracks to 2 v-tracks (L+R) and then mix these down to mp3.
