Grats! Nice pedals.
I wish I had an FZ-3. My FZ-5 is alright I guess. The OS-2 is very versatile.. my son has one. |

Evidently someone at CC didn't do their research, and I'm reaping all the benefits...

Got $5 off the price too
The knobs obviously got swapped around at some point but hey, I'm not complaining

Hey darthtd check out this little BCB-60 mod that DrakeSequation did.
About half way down the page you'll see the most beautiful use of a BCB-60. Nine pedals plus a tuner. |

Hey FRANZONI & Gizzorge,
The thrill of the hunt is what collecting is all about for me, I don't find clicking the mouse and waiting for the postman to be all that exciting, its like a canned hunt so to speak. Don't worry it will get used, its not going to spend the rest of its life collecting dust
I hooked up my DM-2 and DM-3 together for a direct A/B comparison, tonally they sound pretty similar to my ears with those warm lo-fi repeats they are known for however there is one difference I've noticed; the DM-3 has a constant background 'airy' echo above and beyond the usual repeats that gets more intense the further clockwise the Intensity knob is turned. Once Intensity passes 3 o'clock it starts wildly self oscillating regardless of the position of the other knobs. My DM-2 doesn't have the background echo and doesn't self oscillate until both Intensity and Repeat Rate are turned fully clockwise. I don't know if this is normal or not but either way they sound and work different in that regard.

Hey DeFrag,
I was just in the right place right time I guess I don't know how long it had been in the store but it would have been snapped up in minutes had I not spotted it first.
Regarding your previous post, the FZ-3 is good, layed over the top of regular distortion its got that massive sustain grind I've been trying to get for ages. I'd like to try the FZ-5, and the FZ-2 for that matter, I'm sure I'll come across them eventually. I haven't played with the OS-2 much yet, next time I fire up the Marshall I'll take it for a spin.

I have certainly found that you are unlikely to find a bargain in Cash Converters in the UK these days, I am quite amazed at how high some of their prices are. I guess that is widespread use of the net for you. Well done! |
