Does anyone knows of ways modding a Dunlop Cry Baby wah? Stock it sounds good but rather shrill, and the sweet spot is sooooooo short. Stinkfoot makes a mod so it will sound like an old Vox, but sending/returning it to him will cost me a lot I postage .
I used the 100k Dist. pot from my DS-1 for the Vocal mod, that Wah chassis is hard stuff to drill through, don't use cheap bits is the only other advice i can offer
I had a Vox in the late 60īs and when it got scratchy I removed the inwards of it and made a volume pedal out of it.... I didnīt know they was going to be sought after 20-30 years later... But the thing is that I kept the electronics, so somewhere I have a red Fazel inductor.... I have searched for it many times but havenīt found it, but it is somewhere.
