There is an entire line of Behringer pedals that seem to mimic Boss pedals, however, while the controls and features are modelled after Boss pedals, from most of the reviews I have read, they do not sound as good as Boss pedals. And while the internals are modelled similar to Boss, I would not say they are exact, because then they should sound exactly the same. Plus they are made entirely of plastic, so they are probably not as durable as Boss pedals. Behringer also has a couple of pedals out that are "clones" of the Big Muff and Small Stone.

Behringer is an interesting company because while at times it seems like they are good at coming up with their own ideas, I mean just look at the number of products they make, they do weird stuff like the line of Boss clones. While I think its a shame that Behringer does this, I can say that they do make good sounding, hella loud, and very affordable self powered studio monitors (MS-16s) and the Vintage Phaser sounds similar (not exactly, but as close as you can get) to a Small Stone, and pretty much the only one who would notice the difference between the 2 are nerdy guitar players.

They are a ripoff but when I browse through Ebay there seem to be new Boss clones popping up every other day so they're not alone. I have a feeling there's a company out there that have a couple of blueprints ready. You just give them a logo and they produce them by the bucketload.
