This is one for you who has early and later versions of the same pedal, like DS-1, SD-1, PH-2 and other long runners. I noticed that there is a difference in the color shadings of my MIJ SD-1 and a 2005 one, the new one is a little darker. Could this be seen on other pedals? Could it be light bleaching the original color or is it so that Boss mixed the paint a little different?
I think the Boss book mentiones that there are colour differences between early and late CE-2s as well. I compared my new (2003) DS-1 to my MIJ and was surprised how similar these were.
