Hey Bossarea
Please take some pics of the Hall effect sensor & how yours is mounted. I have been trying to compare the resting position of the sensor, over a few internal pics that I have.
If you recall? Mine (wah) seems to have very little usable sweep, no matter how I set the controls. it seems that from inspection the other pics, my Hall effect sensor was factory fitted a little too high, & does not see the the full range of the mechanical sweep of the treadle.
Regards & thanks Dr. Bob. |

| I grabbed a nice OD-2r as well. Love the Od-2, just wished it had more heft!!! The "r" really corrected that problem. Great Pedal! |

Here's my newest addition to the boss collection which is now at a total of 3!

The serial number is 577200 which dates the pedal to August 1985. And along side the others...

Got my OD-2r today and tested it A/B to my MIJ OD-2. OD-2r was a little more treably - in a good way. A nice shimmer, the OD-2 is darker in the tone, and it has a little less output. I think that the OD-2r is maybe a little more transparant, somewhere between OD-2 and SD-2. Anyway, it was a nice pedal and im glad! |

Got my BE-5 yesterday! Useful in some ways, so I thought it would be funny. It was cheap, so why not. One more in the family! |

There is a sale on and everything is 25% off, so that's more than we are asking for them." Red faced and smiling, I paid the guy and left with the new toys he sold me for $105 tax included. I now have 30 Boss compact pedals, I suppose thats some sort of milestone
OHHH I LOVE THIS!
One of my former "favorite" pawn shops changed owners, and to no surprise, all their existing inventory shot up in price by a good 30 to 40%. Seems they changed the strategy to have 'high everyday prices' and have weekly specials 20% off here, 25% off there etc. ... ok, so i stop going to this place ... and a few months later, they had some wicked guitars, a nice USA Tele, and what not... so I was driving by and they had an inventory sale 50% off in the entire store.
Too bad they culled their shelves of good stuff the night before. |
