Its cheap if you have $400 laying around http://cgi.ebay.com/A-DA-Flanger_W0QQitemZ7424611655QQihZ016QQcategoryZ1287QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
If you do a check of ADA Flanges in Completed Listings, ones that look more minty have gotten $300 with BIN.
This item, like some of his others up for auction, have somewhat inflated and outragueous prices, a used Small Clone BIN for $100? and thats after a price reduction, it started out at $150! I guess he's hoping that by the way he has things worded, someone will think Nirvana used the actual pedal that is up for auction... |

$400.00 to get the exact flanging sound on one song from a band that virtually no one remembers any longer. I do -- they opened for Rush the first time I saw them back in 1979. But still.
Some of the more esoteric effect brands from those days seem to command a premium price, and every so often, someone will actually pay it. Look at Mutron gear if you want to see some really outrageous self-appraisals.
/boom, boom -- out go the lights!
