| Hey all, new poster here. I have a Boss RV-3 which I love, but was having problems with it not turning on or off when I pressed it, so I figured it was a faulty switch. Took it to someone who knows electronics better than I, and they agreed. Supposedly an easy fix only neither of us knows where to get replacements for it. I'm pretty sure this is also easy, but I really don't know much about these things. Where should I look? Thanks! |

Welcome to the forum S2 Engine RV-3's take a moment or two to begin operating, when first powered up, and then they act normal. If its doing that, its normal. Mine does it too.

Thanks pedals 4 pv! It's actually not when it first starts operation though, it's just really finicky in general about when it wants to listen to my commands . I think I could live with it for studio work but since I want this on my live rig, I'll need it up to speed.
I'll give Roland a call, thanks for the contact info! |

| You could try with squiting a small amount of contact cleaner along the shaft of the switch, it has worked many times for me. |
