That's ridiculous, they never usually go for even half that. It actually looks like the winning bidder put a huge max bid thinking nobody would outbid him, unfortunately it didn't quite work here did it. Someone else had the same idea when they bid $500 which boosted the price way up. Hope it teaches him a lesson anyway.
At least the seller will be a happy chappy. |

| that's almost worth reneging on the bid - you can't get negative feedback anymore as a buyer, can you? |

This can't be real... unless it was a couple of big name (big budget) musicians duking it out.
Nah... I don't believe it. Something is BOGUS here. |

Tell me about it! I was just thinking, that if this was indeed the trend, I've got 4 DM-2s(three with boxes & manuals) I'll sell at a discount. All in as good or better shape than the one in the auction. All 4 for $2000! That's only $500 per pedal!
...I know, it's ludicrous. No more so than the $610 pedal! |

I thought about it before, what could happen if you made that sort of thing, if it could be okay. I don't know, not gonna try anyway. The seller says his wife has been laid off, so he should be happy, that's maybe half a month's worth... 610$! Unbelievable. |

There were about 7 others bidding at the $150 range, Which ( IMO ) is about the going rate for a DM-2. The bid history does look OK, ( as far as I can tell ). http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=310138431899 Maybe the seller was being forced to sell by his wife...so he bid on his own auction, then told his wife the sorry so & so didn't pay up. |

Big surprise...it's back.
The seller prefaced the description with this: "RE LIST BECAUSE PREVIOUS BIDDER MADE A MISTAKE."
Ya think???
But now at least the buy-it-now is a little more reasonable...still too much but he's getting closer.

| He started with 1$ and now it's 245$...? Also, the previous bidder, the one of the mistake, placed the bid when it was 200$ and entered more than 600$? He won't sell it this time neither. |
