Hi jsoi_narciso
Try here for the operates/user manual, link verified.
http://media.rolandus.com/manuals/TU-12_OM.pdf

I posted some very detailed pictures of my TU-12, in the pedal internals thread.
Try on page 13:

It's just a simple slide switch, you might be able to repair it.
But first of all, I would try spraying some switch cleaner-lubricant into it a few times.
One of my TU-12's has a sticky switch, which I occasionally spray.

I have pulled these types of switches apart before, sometimes you win, sometimes you loose.
The most common fault with them is the lubricant dries out & they get difficult to slide or just sticky.

The part might be still available from Roland spares in your country.
if it's really stuffed.

I hope this helps?

Hi jsoi_narciso
Simple, but tricky if you have not done it/one before.

Take off the battery cover.
Take out the 9V battery.
Now run your fingernails in & around the join in the case.
It's held together with interlocking snaps, a bit like monkey grip.
Once you have a slight split it comes apart easily.

Be firm, but gentle, & be patient.

Maybe you want to go & have another look at the pics I uploaded,
you might see the interlocking snaps.

It's actually harder to explain than it is to do.

To put it back together, just snap it gently back into place.
Replace the battery.
And then replace the battery cover.

Good luck & tell us if you were successful.
